Dato Jack Koh from Muar, Johor is the Co-Founder & CEO of Malaysia Purple League, a premier professional badminton league since 2014.

 

He is also the CEO of LAVISCO (formerly LA Corporation) since 2008, a vibrant and innovative sporting company, with strong business interest in land sourcing to project design, build, operate & transfer (DBOT). Some notable current portfolio namely the ‘Sports Arena’ – Malaysia’s most comprehensive & premier sporting centre and several other Sports, Wellness & Enrichment Hubs across Malaysia.

 

A former national badminton player, he started his badminton journey at a young age of 7 and joined the National Junior Badminton Squad (BJSS) in year 2000 and the National Team (BAM) in 2002. Amongst his highest achievements were being crowned the World Junior Championship Runners-Up in 2002, World Police & Fire Games Champion in 2003 & 2005, National Champion (SUKMA) in 2006 and World Chinese Champion in 2007 before pursuing his tertiary education.

 

Dato Jack Koh has completed the ASEAN Senior Management Programme by the Harvard Business School and also an Executive Programme from the Alibaba Business School in China.

 

For his enormous contributions to Malaysian badminton industry and sports community, he was conferred the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) as a Dato in year 2014 by the Former King of Malaysia and Sultan of Pahang, the late HRH Sultan Ahmad Shah ibni Sultan Abu Bakar.

YM Dato’ Wan Muadzam Shah graduated with a degree in marketing in Australia. His business experiences would include the construction and the automotive industry. He is the executive director of Mulia Interlink Construction Sdn Bhd which is currently constructing major roadworks between Gambang and Segamat.

 

He is also the Deputy YDP of the Bumiputera Contractors Association Malaysia. His experience in the automotive industry dates back to 2003 which goes hand in hand with his passion for automobiles. He is also an AP holder for recon cars.

 

YM Dato’s is an avid polo player having competed in several tournaments throughout Asia and serving as a committee member of the Putra Polo Club.

His ability to deal with foreign and local bankers to structure the cost efficient funding for the group expansion. Experience in tax reporting for Indonesia, Cambodia and Brazil’s subsidiary. Apart from that, he also takes part in developing upstream activity in plantations in Indonesia.

Cedric has been in the FMCG industry which he manages a wide group or pool of sales and operational managers since 1994. His ability to lead, motivate and balance the team objectives to the company expectation is the key art of this record.

 

Due to his vast connection with past management exposing for countries like China, Thailand, South Korea, Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia.

Mr. Lim has over 8 years of experience across multiple industries in consumer electrical retail (Senheng, Malaysia), pets goods retail (Petsmore, Malaysia), professional sports league events (Purple League, Malaysia), and precious metals exploration to mining (Genesis Resources Ltd, Australia).

Graduated with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Ballarat, Australia in 2009 and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Technology, Malaysia in 2004.

 

James was a senior Malaysian Diplomat and a member of the Malaysian Diplomatic and Administration Service (PTD) for 12 years having assignments in several countries including New Zealand, Bangladesh, United States and The Caribbean before opting to pursue his passion in managing sports business and leading a professional badminton club.

 

James is currently in the senior leadership team of LAVISCO, a vibrant and innovative sporting company, with strong business interest in land sourcing to project design, build, operate & transfer (DBOT) and associated business in the sports industry.

Age 34, Male, Malaysian.

 

Graduated with Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Industry Chemistry from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). Started his career with Citibank Malaysia Berhad and promoted to Assistant Vice President (AVP) within the shortest vintage in the Country Sales & Distribution Department. He managed the portfolio of consumers lending business.

 

He then ventured into real estate industry and was elected as the Professional Development Director of Malaysia Institute of Estate Agent (MIEA) Youth. He appeared regularly in local media for property segment interview, such as The Edge, China Press and Melody FM.

 

Currently, he is also the Managing Director of CI Space Sdn Bhd, an investment holding company which has diversified business interest in kids edutainment, wellness and F&B industry.

Mr. Tan Meng Loon @Alan Tan is the Managing Partner of Alan Tan & Associates. Mr. Alan read law in the University of Liverpool in June 2007 and graduated with Second Class Upper. Thereafter, he enrolled into BPP Professional Education in Holborn, London, United Kingdom in September 2007 to pursue his Bar Vocational Course. He is also a member of the Lincoln’s Inn. He was called to the English Bar in November 2008.

 

In 2008, Alan Tan chambered under Messrs. Gooi & Azura and was called to the Malaysian Bar on 20th November 2019. He was subsequently retained as a litigation lawyer in the areas of civil and criminal litigation and assist in conveyancing matters. In 2011, he left Messrs. Gooi & Azura and joined Messrs. K.H.Tan & Co. as a partner where he handled general litigation and conveyancing matters.

 

In July 2012, Alan Tan left Messrs.K.H Tan & Co. to set up Messrs. Alan Tan & Associates. Since the establishment of Alan Tan & Associates in August 2012, Alan Tan has been representing individual and corporate clients in the areas of litigation, conveyancing, employment and corporate governance.

Besides that, also involve in some project base business for few years including recycle plastic industry and Mining Iron Ore.

 

Currently. Bill Kuan is also involving china E platform online marketing, Cross Border E-commerce Supply Chain (Mainly focusing on Malaysia potential F&B products including Durian, Birdnest, Organic foods selling to China).

Donald Speirs

 

Donald has an MSc in Energy System & Technology and previously was the Strategic Marketing Director for the Renewable Power Plants Division of General Electric in Asia.

 

His early career encompassed aero-engine design with Rolls-Royce PLC. In 2003 he joined Natural Power, a firm that developed several utility scale Wind Farms across the UK and Canada.

 

In 2009, he joined Alstom (now GE) and was the product manager for their geothermal business, and then latterly led the GE marketing and business development effort in GE for this and other power solutions in Asia-pacific & Oceania.

 

He is an accredited Chartered Engineer (CEng) with UK Energy Institute and has worked as an independent energy consultant since 2018.

Mary Ma, Chinese.

 

Currently is working in a Chinese state-owned enterprise, a Fortune 500 company with over 20 years’ financial management. A certified management accountant and graduated from Northeast University Industrial Accountant, South China University of Technology.

 

From July 2013 to date, she has been posted to work in Malaysia; overseeing the business expansion overseas division in the same company holding the position of CFO and Deputy General Manager of Malaysia.

 

She has rich financial management experience, good financing channels and have good relationship with Chinese and local enterprises.
